With that said, social media plays a central role in the lives of young adults. Many persons in this generation say that they cannot live without their social networks. This is understandable as many individuals between the age of 18 – 30, use this form of media to socialize, share interesting photos and videos, find entertaining content, stay in contact with friends, learn, and even make a living.

According to DataReportal.com, the most popular social media for young adults include Discord, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, Tiktok, Discord, Reddit, and Snapchat.

Anime

Many young people are interested in Anime movies, tv-shows, and webtoons. They are also interested in making a career out of drawing or creating anime stories. It is almost unimaginable that these Japanese Cartoons overtook everything else young adults watch. Today’s youth, geared with such information, prefer to improve the quality of their lives. While work is essential, many young adults choose to either work from home or a combination of both.

The pandemic has had an effect on work-from-home, as many employers who may not have supported this, got an opportunity to try out this form of work with favorable results. A large number of Employers have since moved to offer permanent work-from-home options for their employees, including well-known organizations like 3M, Accenture, and Goldman Sachs.

Technology has grown very rapidly in the last two decades, creating non-traditional opportunities for making money. They also are more careful about what they eat or drink, and are more likely to add supplements to their diet than the older generation.

Fitness

Research shows that social media positively impacts the fitness behaviors of young adults. And why not, young adult do spend a significant amount of time on social media, which in turn is has a huge influence on not just behaviors, but on the way people view themselves. While most young adults will consider group activity such as bowling, partying, gaming, and so on, as fun. They will also consider individual activities, such as hiking, biking, dance, journaling, or cooking. Others may even consider things that are harmful to them as fun, such as binge drinking and drugs.

No matter their age, young adults will seek out activities from which they can derive pleasure but are also open to what traditionally is considered fun.
